Guardianship Program

In order to welcome underage (under 20 years old for Japanese/under 18 year old for all others) international dancers, MovArtProductions has established a mandatory system of guardianship that secures the safety and wellbeing of the Dutch National Trainee Program students. This system has several options:

1. Parents of students under 18 years old take the responsibility of finding a guardian in Amsterdam or in the Netherlands. This guardian must sign a waiver of liability determining each party’s responsibilities thereby relieving the DNTP of any responsibility

2. All other parents of students under 18 years old will be provided the services of a guardian via MovArtProductions:

a. Students residing at the Linnaeusstraat location will live under the supervision of a guardian also residing in the same building. That guardian will overlook schedules, supervise dinners and ensure general wellbeing of students. The guardian will provide the students with all necessary information and will assist them in all administrative, banking and medical matters. The guardian will also serve as coordinator between parents, the school and MovArtProductions. The parents will have to sign an agreement specifying liability, fees and duration of services.
Yearly Fee: € 900

b. Students residing at other apartments or student hotels will also be assisted by minimal services of a guardian. That guardian will provide the students with all necessary information and will assist them in all administrative, banking and medical matters. The guardian will also serve as coordinator between parents, the school and MovArtProductions. The parents will have to sign an agreement specifying liability, fees and duration of services.
Yearly Fee: € 750
